What Is Life?

What Is Life?
Williams Shakespeare defines life as "a walking shadow, a poor player that struts his hour upon the stage, and then heard no more, a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing!
Life is a terrible teacher. Life sets exams before tutorials."

Another great thinker puts it this way :
Life is a challenge, face it
Life is a risk, take it
Life is a race, run it
Life is a puzzle, solve it
Life is a hardship, face it
Life is a gift, take it.

What Is Life To You?
To me the world is like a great train which is rushing with ever increasing speed towards it's goal, the end of age. But ultimately, the Scripture says, "Human life is as short-lived as grass. It blossoms like a flower in the field. When the wind blows over the flower, it disappears, and there is no longer any sign of it." (Psalms 103:15-16).
Friends, this solar system in which we live will not abide forever. We are standing at the threshold of some of this world's greatest events. I want you to know that human life is in the wheel of time which is in a continuous dynamic motion. When this motion stops, life stops. When this life stops, life itself stops. When life itself stops, where do you go next? Or where is your next destination? (Acts 9:27)
In life we may meet puzzles, challenges, and hardships, but it all points to you one Man who ultimately stands above the chaos of all human values! It is the Man who collapsed under the weight of His cross on the way to Golgotha's hill, the Man who bore the curse of sin as He hung upon the tree. Do you know Him? His name is Jesus Christ (Matthew 11:28-30). He is "the way, the truth, and the life " (John 14:6)
Not only that He will cross you over the life's puzzles, challenges, and hardships, He will also take you to heaven when life ends in this planet. You need Him today! You may never have another opportunity if you miss this one. (Romans 3:23-24; John 3:16)
Remember the question, what is life to you, and where are you going after this life? It is a great and costly risk to walk through this life blindly without the assurance of being saved. Jesus is calling on you right now! “Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts.” (Hebrews 4:7).
