Why are people afraid to consider death and what comes after? Could it be for the same reason that those who are in financial trouble deslike the records which desclose their true condition,and foretell of bankruptcy,disgrace,and ruin?
Solomon wisely say,"A prudent person foresees danger and takes precautions. The simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences" ( Proverbs 22:3). We do well to listen to this advice.
God says " For everyone has sinned;we all fall short of God's glorious standard" (Romans 3:23). We all are included in this verdict;their are no exceptions. This is why Jesus Christ said," tell you the truth,unless you are born again,you cannot see the kingdom of God." (John 3:3). Being born of God,having received a new life from Him,is and absolute necessity. No one can enter the peace and rest of God's presence who is still in his sins. Forgiveness and life are found in Jesus the savior alone. ARE YOU BORN AGAIN?
"Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance:Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners..."(1Timothy 1:15)." For God loved the world so much that He gave His one and only son,so that every one who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life."(John 3:16). Considered what the creator of worlds,Jesus,the son of God did for:He came to this earth to save you from sin and its terrible consequences. His death is the greatest event of all time. DO YOU BELIEVE THIS GOOD NEWS?
God says" The blood of Jesus,His son cleanses us from all sin."(1 John 1:7). This precious blood alone satisfies the perfect justice of a holy God and can cleanse every believer in Christ from every stain of sin. ARE YOU CLEANSED?
If not,accept now this one and only way of salvation. God says "But people are counted as righteous,not because of their work,but because of their faith in God who forgives sinners."( Romans 4:5). Since Jesus Christ freely paid the penalty for our sins on the cross,this is now God's only way of blessing. Listen to This Urgent Command "Now He (God) commands everyone everywhere to repent.For He has set a day for judging the world with justice by the man He has appointed,and He proved to everyone who this is by raising him from the dead."( Acts 17:30,31). "Unless you repent of your sins and turn to God,you too will all perish."( Luke 13:3) Believe This Wonderfull Declaration " I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God,so that you may know you have eternal life."( 1 John 5:13). What wonderfull words of assurance for all who acknowledge Jesus as their own personal Savior and Lord! HAVE YOU ACKNOWLEDGED HIM?
Rejoice in this eternal hope: their is " n inheritance that is kept in heaven for you,pure and undefiled,beyond the reach of change and decay."( 1Peter 1:4). Jesus said "If I go and prepare a place for you ,I will come and get you,so that you will always be with me were I am."( John 14:3). In that beautiful home of eternal love,all sin,sorrow, suffering,and death will be forever past. WILL THIS BE YOUR HOME?
Think Of The End Of A Life Without Christ God says "And anyone whose name was not found in the Book of Life was thrown into the lake of fire."( Revelation 20:15). This is the last warning from the last book in the Bible. Won't you take this warning and escape the judgment that is coming? "And anyone who believes in God's Son has eternal life. Anyone who doesn't obey the Son will never experience eternal life but remains under God's angry judgment."( John 3:36). There is no excuse for a willful and persistent unbelief after such expressions of God's love; neither will there be any escape from the consequences. ARE YOU LISTENING TO THESE WARNINGS?
God's promises and warnings are all intended for presnt and eternal happiness. Therefore believe them and humbly turn to God,who is a " just God and Savior". Then pardon,peace,and unspeakable joy will be yours through the death and rsurrection of Jesus Christ.
