REALITY OF LIFESometimes, it becomes difficult to face certain realities of life. But when you do, you gain it at the end of it all.
NO RELIGION CAN TAKE ANY ONE TO HEAVEN
Define Religion as a man's designed way to reach God; or define Religion as a man's practice of good works with the hope of passing to heaven through purgatory, as chastisement for venial sins for soul purification. Or define Religion in any other way, the fact remains the same that Religion has no blood to shed nor life to give. And the issue of purgatory is simply the concept and trick of the devil, from the pit of hell, to flood many into it. Let's stop messing up ourslves with this human error. Purgatory is the concept of the devil against your soul.
THE SIN QUESTION
When one talk about human relationship with God and His heaven,the issue of sin must be addressed squarely. Man's relationship with God had no problem until sin injured it. It logically follow that if the relationship must be rebult, sin must be dealt with and renounced: "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." "There is none righteous, no, not one." "All we like sheep have gone astray" - (Romans 3:23, 10, 12; Isaiah 53:6)
ONLY JESUS IS THE ANSWER
"And she will have a son,and you are to name him Jesus,for he will save his people from their sins." "For there is only one God and one mediator who can reconcile God and people.He is the man Christ Jesus." "He gave his life to purchase freedom for everyone,....Christ,who suffered for you. He never sinned,and he never deceived anyone." "For God made Christ,who never sinned,to be the offering for our sin,so that we could be made right with God through Christ." "There is salvation in no one else! There is no other name in all heaven for people to call on to save them....." "I am the way,the truth,and the life. No one can come to the father except through me."(matthew1:21;I Timothy 2:5,6; I Peter 2:21;22; 2 Corinthians. 5:21;Acts 4:12; John 14:16).
Unlike bloodless Religion,Jesus shed His blood on the cross for us all (Hebrew.9:22). Unlike lifeless Religion,Jesus gave His life as a ransom for us all. He alone can take us to heaven and not Religion(Jn. 1:12)
MAN AT HIS BEST
Is altogether vanity (Psalm.39:5). All his good works put together present themselves as "filthy rags" before God (Isaiah 64:6). Isaiah thought his good works could credit him before the Almighty,but when he discovered the reality,he cried "my destruction is sealed,for I am a sinful man;....." (Isaiah 6:5). Emphasizing your good works at the expense of your new birth in christ is tragedic and destructive. Why because mere good works without identifying with Christ and God's nature (Peter1:4),cannot lead you to heaven. Man without Christ is not clean enough to make God accept his so called "good works". The truth is,you must receive Christ and be truly born again (John. :12; 3:3)
IN THE RIGHT ORDER
God requires every human being to put "the cart before the horse" and not vise versa. Good works before new birth are counted as " filthy rags". And after new birth experience,the Bible has this to say,
".....that everyone who trusts God will be careful to do good deeds all the time."(Titus.3:8) There must be expeprience of new life before good works are considered to be good works before God. New life in Christ is the begining and proper foundation."....those who become Christians become new persons. They are not the same anymore,for the old life is gone. A new life has begun." "It doesn't make difference now whether we have been circumcised or not. What counts is whether we really have been changed into new and different people."(2corinthians.5:17; Galatians.6:15). Any so called 'good works' before you trully give your life to Jesus is unprofitable and cannot be rewarded by God. IF YOU MUST GO TO HEAVEN You must pray to receive Jesus Christ into your heart as your Lord and Saviour (Revelation 3:20). He has the power to destroy the works of sin from your life (I John.3:8) Call it lying spirit, alcohol and drunken,smoking and hemping,fornication and adultery,stone-heartedness and rebellion,unbelief of the word of God,hatred and backbiting,e.t.c Your lack of victory over sin is a clear indication that you need Christ in your life.
