Truth Unveilers: Psalm 130:3-4

Truth Unveilers-Psalm 130:3-4
We thank the Lord for His faithfulness having brought us to the last quarter of the year 2012.Count your blessings starting with your life first,to see if God has at any point in time deserted you,or have been unfaithful to you.Then you'll know whether He is a liar when He said He'll never leave you nor forsake you in Deuteronomy 31:8.
Today [September 9,2012],we'll be looking at the Scripture we provided for the Truth Unveilers Platform,for the month of September.

The Scripture: Psalm 130:3-4 [New Living Translation];
"Lord,if you kept a record of our sins,who,o Lord, could ever survive? But you offer forgiveness,that we might learn to fear you."

Do you personally keep record of everything you do? Are your records accurate? What can you say about yourself in terms of being obedient to God? How can you rate yourself in terms of faithfulness? God's record about us is perfectly accurate.He never misses any detail about the things we do.And because His records are perfect,it became obvious that no human being that had ever lived in this world is good.The Bible says,"No one does good,not a single one!" -Psalm 14:3 [NLT].The Bible also says in Romans 6:23 [CEV],"The reward for sin is death."
In God's record,we are all sinners.And because we are all sinners,the reward we deserve for our sins,is death.We are not just talking about physical death,but worst of all,eternal death in hell.However even though we truely deserve to die,God in His infinite mercy sent His only Son Jesus Christ who never sinned,to bear on Him the sin of us all on the cross so that anyone who believe and accepted Him,will have His name completely erased from God's book of record of sinners,who would soon receive their death sentences on the last day.Therefore,the psalmist was absolutely right for acknowledging the fact that we would all be destroyed if God were to keep record of our sins and not sending His Son Jesus Christ to take our place.
However,God did not grant us pardon for our many sins for Jesus' sake so that we would keep on sinning.Instead,He granted us pardon so that we might fear Him and quit sinning.But whoever continue in sin despite the great sacrifice made by Jesus on the cross of Calvary for his sake,shows that he has no fear of God in him and must face God's judgment on the last day.God through Christ has granted us pardon for our many sins because He does not want us to perish,but that by believing,accepting His Son Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior by faith,and quit sinning,we may have everlasting life.So,would you turn to Jesus,accept Him and quit sinning so that you can have your name permanently erased from God's record book of death? Or would you continue in your sins and of course,face God's judgment on the last day? Choose life that you may live! [Deuteronomy 30:19]
