God Inquires After You

You who forget God,think about this.If you don't,I will tear you to pieces.No one will be able to save you.

It is a terrible thing to fall into the hands of the living God. -Psalm 50:22,Hebrew 10:31.

God Inquires After You
Many people have indeed forgotten God.They no longer reckon with Him,nor do they want to know anything about Him.But God is there.He inquires after His creatures; He is not indifferent as to their fate.He does not want them to fall victim to judgment without any hope of salvation,for judgment must confront all who ignore Him.
We can already see the consequences of this conscious rejection of God:"They didn't think it was important to know God.So God let them go.He allowed them to have dirty minds.They did things they shouldn't do.They are full of every kind of sin,evil and ungodliness.They want more than they need.They commit murder.They want what belongs to other people.They fight and cheat.They hate others.They say mean things about other people.They tell lies about them.They hate God.They are rude and proud.They brag.They think of new ways to do evil.They don't obey their parents.They are foolish.They can't be trusted.They are not loving and kind.
They know that God's commands are righ.They know that those who do evil things should die.But they continue to do these very things." -Romans 1:28-32.
Nevertheless God has not given mankind up altogether.He wants us to take notice and stand still.He does not want us to suffer His judgment.He says,"Consider this: I do not wish to execute justice; I have given a Savior!"
That Savior is His own beloved Son,the Lord Jesus Christ.By suffering and dying on the cross.He made atonement for sin and bore the judgment for us.
Whoever wishes to be saved,Jesus Christ is there for him to accept.Whoever acknowledges being a sinner before God and believes in Christ and His sacrifice,obtains the forgiveness of his sins and peace with God.
