However, those the Father has given me will come to me,and I will never reject them. -John 6:37.
Will God Receive Me?
This is a question that often occupies the very people who have become conscious of their guilt before God.They have possibly often admitted their sins before God,but that gave them no peace.
This could be connected with the fact that a particular grave sin weighs down on their conscience, one that,by human standards is despicable. But there are also those who have led an upright, even religious life; they may even have read the Word of God and prayed - yet still they see only their guilt; they have not experienced the grace that God offers everyone in Christ.
To all who are in this insecure situation we should like to say; however great the guilt of sin is; it is no hindrance for God's acceptance."But as people sinned more and more,God's wonderful grace became more aboundant. -Romans 5:20.
Christ died for our sins. Now all can be pardoned without exception. All who turn from their sinful state and come to Him by faith can be forgiven. He said Himself that He will reject no-one.
No-one need think that he must first improve his ways or himself so as to become worthy of acceptance. That is impossible! He must come to Christ just as he is.
"But people are counted as righteous, not because of their work, but because of their faith in God who forgives sinners. -Romans 4:5.This means: we are not pronounced free from our sins through our own good deeds, but solely through faith in God and His Son,the Savior Jesus Christ.
Therefore, don't be weighed down by your many sins no matter how great they are.All you need do is to confess them all, turn to Jesus and believe in Him by faith as your Lord and Savior. He said in His Word,""Come now, let's settle this," says the Lord."Though your sins are like scarlet,I will make them as white as snow.Though they are red like crimson,I will make them as white as wool. -Isaiah 1:18.With this assurance, you can be sure of absolute forgiveness only if you turn to Jesus Christ today.
