What do some people say?
¤ There is no God.
¤ God is mysterious and cannot be known by anyone.
¤ God exists but does not care about us or anything we do.
¤ God and Mother Nature are one and the same.
¤ There are many gods.
¤ They themselves are gods.
Sometimes their opinions contradict one another.Sometimes they are confusing.
What does God say?
To find out,we must look in the Bible-the only place God tells us about Himself.There we discover that:
¤ God knows all things,including all our thoughts,ways and words,"O Lord,you have examined my heart and know everything about me.You know when I sit down or stand up,you know my every thought when far away.You chart the path ahead of me and tell me where to stop and rest.Every moment you know where I am.You know what I am going to say even before I say it,Lord." -Psalm 139:1-4.
¤ God can do all things,and nothing is too hard for Him,"Is anything too hard for the Lord?" -Genesis 18:14.
¤ God is everywhere,and no one can possibly hide from Him,"Can anyone hide from me? Am I not everywhere in all the heavens and earth?" -Jeremiah 23:24.
¤ God is eternal,having no beginning and no end,"Before the mountains were created,before you made the earth and the world,you are God,without beginning or end." -Psalm 90:2.
"There is no record of his father or mother or any of his ancestors-no beginnin
g or end to his life." -Hebrews 7:3.
¤ God is unchanging,both in His being and in His Word,"I am the Lord,and I do not change." -Malachi 3:6,

¤ God is love in His nature,"But anyone who does not love does not know God-for God is love." -1 John 4:8 and in His desire for us: "For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son,so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life." -John 3:16.

Are you going to believe men or God? "And all who believe in God's Son have eternal life.Those who don't obey the Son will never experience eternal life,but the wrath of God remains upon them"-John 3:36.
