Why you need Jesus . . .
Jesus loves you! He desires to have a relationship with you,and to give you a life full of joy and purpose.
Why do you need Him in your life?

1. Because you have a past.
You can't go back,but He can.The Bible says,"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday,today and forever." -Hebrews 13:8.He can walk into those places of sin and failure,wipe the slate clean and give you a new beginning.He knows everything about your past,He knew all the terrible mistakes you've made,He knew how much you hated and rejected Him on many occasions,but He still loved you and is willing to erase your wicked past which is why He said,"I have seen what they do,but I will heal them anyway!" -Isaiah 57:18.He also said,"I-yes,I alone-am the one who blots out your sins for my own sake and will never think of them again." -Isaiah 43:25.And,"No matter how deep the stain of your sins,I can remove it.I can make you as clean as freshly fallen snow.Even if you are stained as red as crimson,I can make you as white as wool." -Isaiah 1:18.One great thing about Him is that He never jokes whenever He says something which is why He also said this,"I have sworn by my own name,and I will never go back on my word."-Isaiah 45:23.
Therefore,do away with the fear or douts that your past is so dirty that God would not even look at you.Actually,you may be right if you think that way,but that is precisely why Jesus had to come.He knew how bad your past was and it cost Him his life to give you one simple option in order to permanently delete your horrible past,and to give you a much better life.And this option is to believe and accept him into your live as your Lord and Saviour.

2. Because you need a friend.
The truth is Jesus knows the worst about you,yet He believes the best.Why? Because He sees you not as you are,but as you will be when He gets through with you.What a friend! Can you boast of a friend who is honest,never disappoints you,loves you no matter what,faithful,and is always there at just the right time when you needed him? But here is what Jesus said,"And here is how to measure it-the greatest love is shown when people lay down their lives for their friends." -John 15:13.And,"But the Lord still waits for you to come to him so he can show you his love and compassion.For the Lord is a faithful God." -Isaiah 30:18.Here,you can see how much God loves you.In fact,He's the one waiting for you to come to him.He is always there waiting even though you should have been the one there waiting for him.
Therefore,you will need Him if you need a trusted and a faithful friend.He will never leave you just as he said here,"And be sure of this: I am with you always,even to the end of the age."-Matthew 28:20.Therefore,accept Him today and see the difference!

3. Because He holds the future.
Who else are you going to trust? In His hands you are safe and secure today,tomorrow,and for eternity.His word says,"For I know the plans I have for you,says the Lord.They are plans for good and not for disaster,to give you a future and a hope.In those days when you pray,I will listen.If you look for me in earnest,you will find me when you seek me." -Jeremiah 29:11-13.God loves you and have an exceptional plans for you.It's not his wish for you to pass through your present situations,He believes you deserve a much better and a perfect life of which He is ever willing to give you only if you are willing to trust and give him a chance today in your life.Many are running away from him without even knowing who He is,but by giving Him a chance today,you'll realize how much you've missed all this while while still away from Him.
